LIFT GATE TRUCK REQUIRED
|
The
minimum and usual commercial delivery service is curbside, call ahead. This means the
truck driver unloads only to the curb or street outside the delivery site.
Depending on crated weight of the equipment you purchase a lift gate truck
may be required. If lift
gate is not selected or available or required and the carrier driver does
not drive a lift gate truck one or
two able-bodied individuals must be available at your site to help the
driver unload the equipment to the curb or street. A lift-gate truck enables the
driver to unload unassisted. Lift gate is free in Zone 1 and California,
$100 in Zones 2, 3 and 4 except for downtown Manhattan and Boston where the
lift gate charge is $213. Even with lift gate one or two able-bodied
individuals on site are still necessary to move the equipment from curbside
into your site with curbside, commercial call-ahead delivery service.. |

INSIDE DELIVERY |
This service
provides delivery to
address location, removal from truck by the carrier driver
unassisted, and delivery into the first room inside
the delivery site It does not include removing equipment
from its box or setting it up in a specific room onsite or removing box
debris. Also
even with inside delivery one or two able-bodied
individuals on site are still necessary to help the driver unload the truck
if no lift gate is selected or available in your area. Call

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY (where available) |
With this service equipment is delivered to
address location, removed from truck, delivered inside to a specific
location within the building, product removed from boxes and setup in the
location, and packing materials and boxes removed from site. This type
of delivery should be considered when delivery involves stairs or elevators.
